This question relates to token issued on a monthly basis. Each employee will have a variable part of their remuneration allocated to get them a number of token. However, they will only be able to get control over it after a certain period of time.
Every month the company will convert the cash equivalent to the market price of the token. This would most likely be treated as wages and salaries by the tax department.
